In keeping with our commitment to fiber arts education, FANA offers a program or workshop monthly, generally tied to the second Saturday meeting.

  • Programs can be presentations, videos, or light hands-on process activities, usually lasting 1 hour, generally free of charge, and usually offered during the meeting.

  • Workshops are typically deep hands-on instruction in a specific media or technique and 2-4 hours in duration. There is generally an instructor fee and materials fee. Workshops may be located elsewhere in the community and may occur on different days.

Past programs/workshops enjoyed by our members:

  • Botanical printing

  • Kumihimo braiding
